I got into a car accident last night!?

What are the consequences of getting into a car accident as a minor in Iowa? Please help me!

We need more details.  First of all, you did report it to the police, right?  Secondly, you weren't drinking or under the influence of anything or driving recklessly, right?  Thirdly, you had a driver's license, right?  Or did you have a permit and wasn't with a licensed adult (in which case you could not get your license for a while)?  If it was just a minor accident that wasn't your fault and you have a good license and insurance, you are fine.  It may affect your insurance though.  If you had a license and insurance and it was YOUR FAULT, you will get points taken off your license and your insurance will definitely be affected.  Of course, any other scenario and you could be in some trouble especially if you didn't report it.  It all depends on the circumstances which you didn't mention.  GOOD LUCK!

As long as you have insurance you should be ok, as long as it wasnt your fault. If it was your fault and your a minor, you might get a suspention on your licence. I THINK.

The police officer would have told you if you were going to be fined, if your license would be revoked until age 18, etc.

I'm not sure about in Iowa but I think it depends on how it happened, like if it was at a redlight or what not
