  1. wow! whats that warranty for?

but the warranty u purchased is an extension from the original. there for, if you were to cancel, you should still have the original warranty provided by the manufacturer.

i think he should be able to give the money back and cancel the extended warranty if you havent had problems with the equipment.

but then again, if the dealer doesnt take kind to you or is in a bad mood, he will deny giving u the money back.

  2. $1800 isnt bad depending on the vehicle, term, and level of coverage, and considering the $1800 includes a dealer mark up of $500-$1000.

If is a high end Mercedes you would be looking at around $3-$4k.  Just because it came from the dealer DOES NOT mean it is a factory extended warranties. Most dealers seller coverage for 3rd patry carriers. Sometimes they are well large insurance companies providing the coverage, sometimes it's not.  You could also talk to your local insurance agent and Credit Union.

Most companies will allow you to cancel within the first 60 days and receive a full refund, with no claims paid.  if it is outside of the 60 days the refund will be prorated based on date or miles whichever you have used most of regardless of claims paid.

  3. You'd probably have to pay for the time you have used the warranty, but other than that you should be able to get out of it somehow.

  4. thats what dealers do. they rip you off on anything

  5. go tell him ur steaming mad and you're not gonna take it anymore

  6. i would like to know what $1800 would cover.....hopefully complete replacement if necessary...thats a lot....unless you have like a $40,000 stereo system. how much is the "less" expensive warrenty and does it cove the same thing?
