I got jipped!?

okay so i love baby sitting kids are awesome and the ones i recently babysitted were even better im childish im 16 but love to play pokemon and i watch disney. well i baby sitted for about four and a half hours there were 4 kids three 7 year olds and one 4 year old this is for a family friend. these kids were nto bad but i only got 40 dollars!!! i did not give a specific price but i know that i should have gotten paid more! do you agree and what do you think i should have gotten paid?

not worth it

next time, charge a specific amount per hour and age of kids and number of kids

say:

$5 per 5-7 yr old

$6 per 3-5

or w/e

I believe you should have gotten paid what you think that you are worth.  Only you know the labor you had to endure to babysit four kids.  So what do you believe that your time is worth.

I think you got paid plenty! Around here, a babysitter would faint if they got paif that much.

I don't think that's right!! but that happened to me before, and because I'm shy i didn't say anything. I would have pay you $50 +tip that's what i get pay normally. $10 an hour plus tip and if is 4 1/2 hours I get pay the extra half as an hour.

well, just how much do you youngsters expect to get paid these days? you made about as much as I'd make in that amount of time, and I have to pay taxes. You don't, although you should..
