My friend told me that I just got so d**n lucky to get the day before Christmas to have jury duty because no new trials begin that week and I will for sure get dismissed immedietely. (It actually says I need to call in first.) But is that true that there are no trials that week? I guess the computer just spits out random dates for people to get jury duty. Did I get lucky to get that date out of any other time?

  1. No problem, just tell the judge that your name is Jesus Christ and you birthday is the next day...........I guarantee you, you will NOT be held over for jury duty.  I'm not sure where you will end up, but no duty.

  2. just tell them you understand you as a juror have to authority not only to decide if they broke the law but also decide the law. you will be the first one dropped.

  3. You got lucky, but keep the day free just in case of that 1%

  4. Tell them you believe in capital punishment... No more jury duty for you.....whoo-hooo
