I got mine done a month ago and i have like a white-ish swollen taste bud on the left side of my tongue ring?

it doesnt hurt at all. it just bugs me that its there. can any one help me out!? thanks.

I had that when I got my bellybutton pierced. I let it go though and it got infected, doctor said it was the way the tissue healed but if you dont get it fast enough it can get infected and mess up the piercing so I'd get it checked by a doctor.

More than likely it's an infection.  If it starts oozing puss, which I think it will, be ready to go to a doctor or urgent care.

Sometimes what you see is just the tip of the "iceberg."

You need to have that checked out because theres something wrong it sounds like scar tissue

Sounds like a keloid! Saltwater rinses, and brown listerine after you eat or drink anything. Go back to you piercer to get it checked out. Your piercing fee includes after care, so take advantage of it! You could also see you doctor if it doesn't get better, or just take it out.

It's never a bad idea to ask the piercer. If it doesn't hurt and it isn't oozing puss or anything then it could be a keloid. I had one of those (after playing with it too much) and my piercer told me to crush up some aspirin and then put the powder on the keloid for about a minute, if memory serves. It tasted nasty & felt weird but worked like a charm. But again, it doesn't hurt to ask your piercer.
