  1. kill yourself for credit card debt??

omg!  thanks for the laugh, i needed that.

  2. No. Duh. Kill yourself over a 40k debt? How stupid is that?

At least now you've learned how seductive credit cards can be. This can be a lesson you'll draw strength and wisdom from for the rest of your life.

There are concrete steps you can take to get out of this mess, sooner than you might think:

    1) No buying more stuff on credit! You know how sooo easy it is to get stuck behind that 8-ball.

    2) Pick the highest interest-rate card, pay everything you can to it every payday. Make the minimums to all but the highest-interest card. Don't use that card anymore. The card debt will eventually go away. When the debt is gone, cancel the card, cut it up & send it back. You MUST cancel the card in writing, according to the card contract.

    3) Repeat this with the next-highest interest rate card. Pay everything that you were paying to the other (now gone) card to this one, plus the minimums you were paying to the 2nd card before..

    4) Keep getting rid of the cards one by one this way.

    5) Apply the life lesson you have learned. If you want something new, do it the way people did until the 1960's - save up for it. That doesn't mean you can never go to the movies or have fun, you just can't buy things that you don't already have the money in-hand to afford.

You can move the largest pile of sand, if you do it one handful at a time.

Don't every use credit cards to finance things you want, or buy neat stuff, or have the coolest gadget, or take trips, or go shopping, etc... Use a credit card like it was an emergency fund, only for REAL emergencies.

You can do this. Just do it one payday at a time.

  3. Of course not, there is no reason to kill yourself, especially not this.  If you are joking, I'm not laughing.  And if you are not, you should get more help than just for credit debt.  Never feel that there is " no " way out, except to kill yourself.  There is always other ways out, always.

    God bless you.

  5. What you're thinking to do is not the solution to your problem.

Call the credit card company and try to work out a solution. I have read an article that a lot of times the bank will work  with you where you can negotiate to pay not the full amount but some of it anyway. Another thing some people do in your situation file a personal bankruptcy. I hope this helps.

  6. Don't do that. Nothing ever gets so bad that you should kill yourself. You have options. Call a debt consolodator and they will help you, even if you can afford to make small monthly payments (even $20 a month). And if you do not pay it, the worst thing that'll happen is that it will ruin your credit for 7 years. After 7 years, it'll be off your credit report. Never hurt yourself or think about killing yourself over anything. If you need advice or need anything, please feel free to email me.

  7. Please don't kill yourself. What good would that do? SOMEBODY CAN HELP YOU
