I got my 2nd piercing done 4 days ago and its sore...?

Oh man. Where is pierced? If it's your ear, it's DEFFINITLY going to fall off.

i would suggest getting it checked out.....but if you stop at a store called claire's they have some sort of alcohal to put on it that you can buy

well if this is your second piercing  you should have learn from your first  duh duh

it should be tender or sore for a while, but it differs on different parts of the body and for different people. give it a couple more days, maybe a week

What did you get pierced? If its your ears, you should be ok, I have 3 done and a cartilage, and the only one that hurt was the cartilage for a long time. you should wait awhile and then if it still hurts, i would get it checked out.

I am not sure what exactly you had pierced so I'll assume it was your ear lobes in which case -  clean the site with rubbing alcohol and use Vaseline to keep the ring moving - red is not becoming and it also means the site is infected - not good.

it's completely normal. just make sure you're cleaning it with unscented, uncolored soap and saline solution (H2Ocean is great) 3-4 times a day. Don't dry the saline solution off... let it air dry. Don't touch your piercing unless cleaning it, and make sure your hands are clean. Also, a common mistake is to try and peel the crusty lymph secretions without making it wet first. This only tears the skin around the opening and increases healing time. I'd say the soreness should stop anywhere from now to 2 weeks depending on the piercing.

but yeah its common to be sore for a few days. few weeks could mean INFECTION!
