I was under the impression that each lens was different for each eye because one of my eyes can see better than the other but i just got my box today and they don't seem to be labeled any different, are they both the same and i can just use them on either eye or am i missing something.

  1. there should be a piece of paper that came with the contacts that said what the prescription is for each eye & on the box it will say the prescription (example 4.50)

  2. When I got my contacts, I got a a years supply via a bunch of different little boxes with 6 individual contacts in them each. Each box had either an "L" or an "R" sticker on the front somewhere. (for Left and Right.)

You really ought to call your optometrist's office quick if you aren't sure.

It shouldn't take but a minute for you to get the info.

  3. Usually the boxes are marked L and R, but if they aren't then there definitely will be your prescription number on each box.  Usually like 1.25 or 2.75 etc.   Just call your optometrist and ask them what is your prescription for each eye.  Next time just ask them to mark the boxes when you're picking them up.

  4. contact your doctors office and get a copy of your rx and compare the rx with your contacts

  5. You got your first box of contacts and they were delivered directly to you .. wow .. my first box was delivered to my eye doctor and then they gave them to me ... and advised me of what box was which ... and some additional information.

Call your doctor, the receptionist can pull your file and tell you which is which .. s/he will tell you what numbers to look for
