  1. If there is water in your ear after you have swam pull your earlobe down and just shake your head till it comes out- or get Speedo ear plugs. They help alot. Cotton works too if you shove the cap over your ears.

OH! Try wax. That works too!

    Lotsa Luck!

  2. when i was younger i had the same problem. i went to the doctor and had toy get surgery to fix the perforated ear drum. i would suggest that you do not put any alcohol based ear drops in your ears because when you put them in with a torn ear drum it burns like h**l. i am a competitive swimmer and since i have always had ear problems i had special ear plugs made. you can go to an audiologist for this and they come in a various assortment of colors and you can get more than one color in each plug. you can even get them made so that they float. they range in price but mine cost about $70. hope this helped and feel better!

  3. my little sister had tubes 3 times and when she had them she could not get any water in her ears. she always had them during the summer. this sounds weird, but get some silly putty. it works realy well. make sure you use enough though.

and when you get out, put swim ear drops in and if there is any water in there it wil dry it out.

  4. ear plugs

  5. what you have to do is wear ear plugs and wear a cap. Or you could ju8st swim on your good ear side.

  6. where a swim cap. Or you can buy these gells at swimming stores that you put in your ear and in keeps the water out for good!

  7. I had this problem as well. Some ideas...

    1) Ear plugs....

    2) Swimmers ear drops put in before swimming and after.

    3) Pull cap over ears.
