I got my husband a gift on eBay.?

Question

Now, i paid for it friday though ebay. It says everything went though fine. But, does the person selling surposed to notifiy you and let you know when item has been shipped or some kind of email on whats gonna on? This is my first time I won on ebay and I don't want 400.00 to go to waste..

Should I email the seller to see if my item was shipped or should I wait atill Monday?

I would think she'll send me a feedback score? I paid soon as it was won..

She should send you an email ....usually thanking you. Then in a couple of days she will send you a tracking number, confirming item has been shipped. Did you check her information how long has she been with ebay and how many people are pleased with her. If that is the case don't worry everything will be fine.  I love ebay!!!!

Some sellers let you know, others don't. If you don't hear anything by Monday, I would send her a message through Ebay's message center and ask her.

The seller is not obliged to tell you if the item has been shipped.  You can send the person an email to ask if it has though.

I normally send an email to confirm delivery.

There are no hard and fast rules.  Usually there is some statement about shipping policy in the auction.  Alternatively you should ask the seller before bidding.

If you bought it from a business that does a lot of business you might not get individual service.  

If you bought it from an individual, an email explaining that you bought it as a Xmas gift and that you would appreciate shipping as quick as possible probably wouldnt hurt.  

Actually, such a note in any case might not hurt.
