Question:

I got my ipod wet and it wont turn on what should i do?

i reset it and it turned on but it was fuzzy, then the screen went blank but i could still hear the music...but now it wont turn on and when i press the screen i can c water inside it also makes a beeping noise when i try to turn it on is my ipod done for?

  1. The one thing people do when they get their electronics wet, which they SHOULD NOT DO is try to turn them on. this increases the chances that they wont work when dried

    If your ipod got wet, you should have left it alone for several days to dry out, dial side down, preferably.

    Unfortunately, when you tried to turn it on, and kept on trying and trying, you probably allowed the water to short it out. I think you killed it.

    although my brothers phone fell in my pool

    and he tried turnin it on like an idiot.. it did work when it dried off though which took about 2 weeks

    eh well be patient and hope it works i hope you have the warrenty...


  2. let it dry out and put in a jar with raw rice to absorb the excess water for 3 days

  3. Easy to fix, just goto where you bought this one, AND buy another one!!!  All fixed!

  5. Take it into where you bought it...if you have a warranty on it they should be able to fix it for free or replace it.
