But you have to go to different exams and apply to different provinces and it is not guaranteed that you will get accepted!

After a while, I found myself "out of practice" and it is a bad thing when you apply to any medical residency

So anyone has any clue what I have to do to solve that?

  1. Getting a license to practice in Canada when you have a medical degree from a third world can be a VERY long and discouraging process.  There are any number of foreign MD's in Canada who are driving cabs/working as clerks etc. etc.  You have to apply to the  OCPS  .. (Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons --- in regard to Ontario licensure at least) They MAY contact you after a year or two...when they have investigated / followed up on the academic credentials you gave them....and after that they MAY interview you....and give further consideration to your request.  This can take YEARS....and a lot of foreign MD's give up on the process long before it is completed.  Patience!.....that's the watchword.
