I got my prescription for acuvue 2 colours from my doctor... its the same as my oasys?

The measurements were the same. Is that normal? I was just wondering because since there completely different... they have the same measurements... Oh and I was trying out colors at the doctors and the trial pair contacts were really uncomfortable. Is that just because it is not the real thing and unprescribed?

The base curve shouldn't be written the same for both the Oasys and the Acuvue colors.

Oasys comes in 8.4 or 8.8

The colors come in 8.3 or 8.7

That will cause you a problem to order it if you do it onlne. If it is the colors you want to order now, and the BC isn't 8.3 or 8.7  on your prescription, you will have to go back and have the Dr. correct it.

I don't know what was happening with the trial lens you tried, but the idea of a trial is to have it the same as what the final order will be. ( in regular sphere powers )
