My tv is a new flat screen LCD. All of the basic cable channels up to the 60's are snowy. I belive thoose are the analog channels. Then I get channels like 83.1. Those come in great and I belive those are the cable channels. Its just weird. How do I get it to be all cable?

  1. Cable channels can be both analog and digital.

Are you sure your house gets cable?

Few things that can be happening.

    a) The cable actually connects to an antenna

    b) There is no cable service, but the cable itself acts as an antenna

If you do pay for cable, call the cable company. It is OK to get analog channels, but they should come clear.

I highly recommend you get digital cable with HD programming.

Try this for help with connections:http://www.flat-screen-tv-guide.com/conn...

  3. Do you have a cable box? If so, connect this to your tv using a scart cable. Switch the TV onto the aux channel (av). This will only show signals coming from the cable box.

Connecting a normal tv ariel to your tv and retuning could solve your "snowy" issue
