I got off of depo and haven't had a period, what now?

I got my first dose of depo 3 months ago and I never went back to get the second shot. I haven't had my period and I am really worried. I am still having s*x but I keep getting paranoid. How long will it take me to get my period? I have had a few spottings, but no serious bleeding.

I hope you're using other methods of birth control...but i myself was on depo...and it wasn't till after a year that i became "regular" again... so always be prepared for spotting/bleeding..

When I stopped taking depo it took me a 1 1/2 years to get my period back.  Please make sure you are using a back up method.  As soon as I got my period back I got pregnant.

you need to ask your doctor or read any literature you have on depo.

Also, you better start making him use condoms, just because you didn't get your period yet doesn't mean you didn't ovulate.
