you could hand wash it with soap and water. Peanut butter doesn't generally stain. Or you could just toss in the washing machine, unless it says dry clean only.

Any of the stain removers are great at removing organic compounds like food.  I am surprised peanut butter left a tough stain.  The most important thing in removing any stain is to try to get it while it is fresh.  If you wash and dry  a piece of clothing with a stain, it is almost impossible to get out.  Use spray and wash or shout on the inside and outside of the shirt where the stain is.  Let is sit for a couple of minutes and wash it.  If some of the stain is still there when it comes out of the washer, do it again, but dont dry it until you get it out.

I have always read that the best way to get out an oily stain is by rubbing it with powder - baby or whatever - and then washing it. It's worked for me. Another thing that works great on laundry stains that nothing else will get out is Greased Lightening. It works better than any stain remover I've found. I don't know where you live, but I live in the southern US, and it's available at most grocery or chain stores like Wal-Mart. This stuff is great, for laundry and cleaning, and practically anything else.
