I got phone serivce from connectmyphone.com and Att is there provider i owe them moneywillitbe onmybilllater?

We had service with ATT years ago. And i went online to get new service not knowing they use ATT will they charge me for a bill from my past and why would i even be accepted for service again. I dont no whether to still go with connectmyphone.com or not now?

ConnectMyPhone.com looks to be just an aggregator and comparison shopping site for local phone providers around the country. If you ordered through them, they're sending the order straight to AT&T.

As for your previous balance, it may depend on how long ago it was as you may technically owe a different company. AT&T is actually the old company called SBC, who purchased AT&T and rebranded itself under the more popular company name. So, in short, you could owe the "Old AT&T" and not the "New AT&T".

Also, if was more than a year ago or so, they have probably passed that debt off to a bill collector.

If it was pretty recent, it could depend on what name and social security number you used to open the original account.
