  1. I found a list of traffic citation fines but not one for following to close but you can try this and maybe it will help.

As part of our commitment to provide citizens with efficient, convenient service, we are pleased to offer payment of your traffic citation or to sign up for Traffic School over the Internet, see below for information, or by telephone by calling (559) 488-3379.

To sign up for Traffic School, you understand that you have the right to be arraigned, and the right to a speedy trial. In order to attend traffic school you must freely and voluntarily give up these rights.

You should be aware that any court or traffic school fee paid will not be refunded if traffic school is not completed in a timely manner.

You must declare under penalty of perjury that you have not attended any traffic school, defensive driving course or any other course of instruction for dismissal of a citation received within 18 months of the violation date of the current citation.

You should understand that you may be subject to prosecution for perjury if you post bail and pay the $39.00 administrative fee with knowledge that the above statement is in fact false.

Payment of court fees, traffic school fees, and proof of traffic school completion is required for dismissal of your citation.

To obtain a free list of approved Traffic Schools, please contact the California Traffic and Safety Institute at (661) 538-0192 or on the web: www.ctsi-courtnetwork.org.

You may attend any school on the approved list.

  2. If the citation was for reckless driving then the fine can be anywhere between $145 and $1000. Most likely they did not ticket you for reckless driving though and the fine will be less.

  3. Most citations for moving violations have the amount of the fine listed on the paperwork.  Or there is a phone number to the folks who collect the money on your citation.
