I got put into choirs ?

i got put into choirs in mi skool and i dont know how to read the music

they never told me

this is my 1st year doin choirs so i dont want to ask the teacher cuz every one knows how to read the music but me!!!

does anyone know or can show mw how to read it ??? PLZZ???

musictheory.net can give you a start, but i suggest you admit your weakness to your director and get help from others in the group.

i would ask your teacher don't be scared even if everyone else know everyone has to learn some how i still don't know how to read music at all but i try my best.

Essentially, as notes on the lines go up, your voice goes up. When they go down, your voice goes down. If you google "how to read music" there are links to Youtube, Wikihow and howtodothings.com. All of those sites give good advice, so try that.

Your best bet is probably to ask a friend in the choir or your teacher to help you and show you the basics. Don't be shy. Everyone has to learn sometime!
