I saw a camera flashing while I was passing through yellow light and Im wondering what happens. It's my first time getting a traffic ticket and I got it at California. I live at Washington state and I go to school in California. I want to know if i have to attend a traffic school at Washington or just take it at California. Im going to school at California and have no time to go to Washington for traffic school..

  1. Clhen is right.  Just wait for the fine to come in the mail (approx. $357.00) pay it and problem over. Save the traffic school for when you get a Really Bad ticket. You can only go to traffic school once every 18 months.  Good Luck!!

  2. Sadly I say you have to pay it.  My son received one while out in Arizona, they have speed cameras out there and he lives in Virginia.

He never paid it.  Months later, my doorbell rings here in Virginia, man turned out to be a process server, and served me, he wasnt home.

Now the fine is bigger than before.

My opinion on these cameras is that they are nothing but a tax collecting machine and illegal, where is the complaining witness?

I have phantom plates on my vehicles, has little metal particles in them which distorts the flash.

  3. They send you a ticket in the mail. You send them a check for the fine.Simple really.

  4. well, it would have to be in california i assume. Although you can pay it online and skip school i think........ but you get a point on you DL
