I got rejected F1 visa for US in december 06, and now my question is can I apply for H1B visa for US?

Actually I got rejected for student visa in december 2006, and I have just specified my graduation at the time of applying for student visa, but the problem is I have done my masters in MCA, and my Question is can I now apply for H1B visa for US?

  1. From what I have heard its very difficult to get H1B approved even with support from an employer if you are abroad. I think it will be easier if you come to US first.


  2. If you are eligible for an H1 then yes  you can, however you first need an employer in the U.S. to sponsor you and the file the intital paperwork - without an employer you are not able to do anything.
