I got rejected by a school and I am in year 10 next year. So if i apply for other school's will they let me in

Just before the summer holidays I went for an entrance test at a school for year 10. Then they chose someone else, so they rejectd me. I am wondering if I apply for other schools, will they let me in during the middle of year 10? Or will i have to stay at my old school:(

You should apply to another school. Try not to transfer to another school in the middle of the school year. No body has ever rejected you and nobody will ever reject. Have more faith in what people the schools tell you.

as long as there have been no important tests such as gcse mocs or something and it's not really late they should let you in that is if they have any spaces left in that year
