I got scratched by a ball pen.

I accidentaly scratched myself with my ball but i only noticed this the day after. When i noticed it, it was like i wrote something on my hand with a pen cause it was a line. I washed it off and then i saw a scratch on my hand. A few hours later it turned red. So what would happen if i got scratched by a ball pen??

The atoms in the pen ink contains many attractions from such animals such as elepants and bees. Wash it off quickly before going near any animals. They elephant will stomp on you and the bee will sting you. The effect of this is called penzotaitus. This cannot be treated at home please consult a doctor or physision in 2 hours after the damage. idk, im just kidding.

Nothing will happen its just a simple scratch it will heal and go away on its own.

Anytime you break the skin, with anything, you have a chance of introducing bacteria into your body.  And, with bacteria, comes infection.  Most of the time, the infection is minor, and the body fights off the invasion, the cut or scratch heals and everything is fine.

The redness may be just a sign that the body is doing it's job at fighting the infection, but, watch for signs that the redness gets worse, or, changes into other colors.  Since it as a day or two after the scratch was done, putting any antibacterial agent, like bacitracin, neosporin or goop won't do any good.

If it does get worse, then you should see a doctor.
