I got stuck in mud and my steering wheel was real hard to turn after?

i put power steering fluid and its still hard..

need help PLEASE!!!!!

  1. Look under the truck and make sure nothing is obstructing the movement of the steering, like mud or some debris picked up in the mud.


  2. wash the mud out from under your truck and make sure there is nothing hung up in the steering components, and that nothing is bent, broken, or loose. if you still have trouble with steering after doing this you need a mechanic.  

  3. Check your power steering belt to see if it is tight and check under the truck to see if any rocks or sticks are blocking or stuck where your steering is.

  4. Put the Truck in the Air, Steam Clean the Front Axle, Rack-n-Pinion & Everything (Transfer Case & Transfer Drive Shaft if 4X4) all the way up to the Power steering Pump then Inspect Everything.
