Question:

I got that can foam insulation on my hands and I need something to take it off.?

the stuff you buy at the hardware store.

It has setup now...so do I just wait for it to wear off?

  1. Acetone (nail polish remover) can be used to take off the foam in some instances. You may also have some success by rubbing the area with a pumice stone while washing your hands.


  2. you can also use gasoline or diesel fuel and a shop rag to get it off.

  3. If it has dried, you're pretty much stuck.  You can peel off the bulk of it with your fingers, but the really stuck stuff is going to have to wear off, usually in about three days.

  4. You can't get it off.  Always wear rubber gloves.

  5. That's what I do.  It won't take long--unless you are impatient, then it takes a loooooonnnnnnngggg time.
