I got the 1 red ring of death, will microsoft repair it if its still under warranty?

if i send it in, will i get 1 month free of xbox live, and if not should i wait until the light turns into 3?

One red quadrant means that it's a hardware failure.  

If you're still under warranty, MS will fix it for you.  I wouldn't wait until the red ring of death appear because there's a chance that it won't show up at all, so if it doesn't show up after 1 year, you can't get MS to fix your 360 when there's only 1 red quadrant.  

Whether or not you get 1 month of XBL usually depends on how long it took MS to fix it.  In most cases, you'll get 1 month.

that just means a cord is out or try taking off your hard drive then putting it back in or if you have a memory card take that out too. never put both on at the same time that will mess up your box. o and you will get one month

fix it yourself that's what i did it's really pretty easy to do just follow the instructions closely and you will be just fine sending it in will take a minimum 4-8 weeks to get back. can you wait that long?
