I got the job as a mother's helper. FINALLY! It's on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while she picks up her son, so I have to watch the other son, who is usually sleeping. Which will take 30- 45 minutes, but I'm not sure wether she'd want me to stay and keep both her son's busy while she does work or not. And I might help her out other times too, if she needs it. She wants to know what I charge. I asked her what she was willing to pay, and she say for me to come up with the number. Ahh! What do I charge? I was going to pick up the toys in the living room, and stuff, and do the dishes if there are any. Do some light cleaning in the first floors and maybe the kids bedrooms if there are any toys on the ground. I don't know. What should I charge?

  1. Depends. How many hours you work? 3...5? 6? It seems reasonable to charge $3.50 per hour. (only if you work like 4 hours or more, if you work less then like $2.50) If you're going to do more jobs around the house then add a little more. If you work less hourse, subtract a bit. If you work more and do more then keep adding from 5o cents, to a dollar...and so on. Make sure to work hard so the mother notices that you earn ur money. If she doesn't wanna pay much then offer lowering it a bit, or offer to do more stuff around the house that way you earn ur money fair and square. good luck! :]
