  1. You cannot, unless you get your device unlocked. I guess you can flash the latest firmware into it to get it unlocked. Be carefu and have it done by an expert or you might brick it, if you dont know what you are doing


  2. No, you cannot.  It is locked to Vonage.

    Best bet is to just buy an unlocked Linksys PAP2T-NA.

    I purchased my Linksys PAP2T-NA from VoIP Depot in Canada.  In USA, you can buy from VoIP Supply:

    I only subscribe to VoIP services that allow me to BYOD (bring your own device) and no contracts.

    I use InPhonex and CallCentric.  Their rates are lower than Vonage and No Contracts, no commitments, and no non-sense.

    I programmed the PAP2T-NA for InPhonex on Line-1 and CallCentric on Line-2.  Works great.  One ATA, and two separate VoIP services.

    I can reprogram the ATA for other services at anytime.

    I also use it with Les.net and VoIP.ms VoIP services (also only pay-as-you-go and no contracts and BYOD).
