  1. Sorry friend but there is no Microsoft, Yahoo or other e-mail lottery, it's a scam do not answer do not give personal information. The following sites give more information

    http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/nigeri...

    http://www.thescambaiter.com/forum/showt...

    http://www.hoax-slayer.com/email-lottery...

.Also If you go to the following site you will get some info on ID theft www.identity-theft.org.uk the iinternet is safe enough if you are careful but please answer nothing that you are doubtful about.Good Luck and be careful

  2. I'd put that, in the SPAM folder. they want all your important information. your banking account, etc. so don't fall for this.

  3. NEVER EVER ever respond to one of these lottery e-mails with any personal information. If you do, you will find yourself broke in a matter of a few days because your bank account will be drained by thieves.

Didn't your mother ever tell you that if something seems to good to be true, it probably is?

Why did you bother responding at all? Now that thief has your e-mail address and will keep bombarding you with SPAM and JUNK mails as well as giving your address to a bunch of other sites from which you will probably receive SPAM and JUNK e-mails.

In short. delete any of these types of e-mails that say you have won a prize! Do NOT open them. Many of them contain images that when clicked on, reveal your IP Address and or e-mail to the SPAMMERS.

Use some common sense. Who would offer you hundreds of thousands of dollars for nothing?
