  1. if you know the right place where to buy it, it can be cheap

    50/50

  2. To be honest with you, the PSP is pretty crummy. It's a pathetic system because there are no good games and the online play is just terrible. Don't even bother trying to fix it because by the time you fix it, you would have spent more money on it than it would cost to buy a completely new one.

Firmware has a moderate chance of messing up your system. Some firmwares are good, some bad. You just have to check it out before getting one.

  3. well i think it is worth trying to fix it a new screen will cost $40 a joystick will cost $20 for 3 or 4 a faceplate will cost $20 buttons may cost like $10 so you would be spending like about $90

  4. No because I was in the same hole as you it cheaper to buy one new

  5. it depends how much it costs to fix it. If its cheap go and fix it and if it cost more to fix it than to buy a new one you are better of buying the new one and using the old one for parts.
