Even if you don'tquite know what it means, could you take a stab at it anyway?

Anne Morrow Lindbergh~

Him that I love, I wish to be free -- even from me.

Also, if you have absolutely no idea like me, could you suggest a short quote that has something to do with saying good bye? (nothing funny though). Thanks!

  1. This is just my guess. She can't be with the one that she loves because of influence from people around her as well as her own moral values. Part of her might be wanting to be rid of him so that she will not have to deal with all the pressure from said people.

  2. shes saying that she loves the man, but wants him to be free and see other people, and be free from her.

    thats my guess :]

  3. The woman wants to be free from the person that she loves as well as herself because she loves him so much, so that she would have no feelings for him. That's what I think anyways.

  4. seriously, i think that she is basically telling the guy that it is obviously not happy in the relationship thefore because she loves him, the girl would rather see the guy happy than herself- that's why she's breaking up with him.

  5. She still loves this guy but wants him to go out and find someone else.
