  1. its awesome i would buy it

  2. I have yet to hear anything about their saddles but I have heard several times that their bridles are horrible. I would not buy their leather products but thats just me. I think it is one of the lower end companies that spits out products for low prices and you get what you pay for. Its reviews are less than amazing as well:

  3. Kincade's are usually really nice saddles. As long as it fits you and your horse, I love it. I'm more of a western person, but I recognize the name Kincade, so it must be a good brand. If you like it and your horse likes it, then it's all good.

  4. Stay away from Kincades!  They are appealing because they are cheap, but they are also poorly made.  They quality is awful and the saddle will not hold up.  One thing you will find is that no matter what, you can not skimp on your saddle.  Yes, saddles are expensive, but you can find many older used saddles that are much better quality than the Kincade.  Look for an older Crosby, Collegiate, HDR, or Pessoa.  All of those saddles are better quality...your horse will thank you for it!

  5. no...get a billy cook saddle....

  6. Kincade is an economy brand similar to Gallop.

I have never had experience with their saddles but I'd expect it to be "okay".

If it's anything like the cheap one I got when I was in a pinch you will need to watch for the tree stretching with use and you may find that the colour runs if it gets wet.

I can't remember the name on the one I bought but it was heavy duty leather and extremely comfortable - it just stretched so it didn't fit my horse any more.

Personally I rather buy an expensive one that's been worn in than a new cheap one.

  7. I had some younger students buy Kincades as their first saddles, and they had a few problems. My biggest complaint with them is the leather dye tends to rub off on your breeches, especially when you sweat. The poor girls ruined a few pairs of show breeches that way. The flaps also tend to turn black the way that poor quality leather does.

I believe Kincade saddles have foam pannels, too. I prefer wool because you have them professionally fit to your horse's back. Horses do change throughout competition and the year. It's helpful for the saddle to change, too.

I usually recommend higher quality brands to my students simply because you get what you pay for. A more expensive saddle is likely to fit you and the horse better, hold up to lots of rides, and retain its value when you go to resell it. That being said, if you're young and will be growing out of this saddle in a year or two, saving money now isn't such a bad thing.

  8. The only thing i am worried about is where it was made.  England-good Argentina-good most other foreign places are good, but not the USA or other places like that.  Nice saddle.  Its more horse comfort than person comfort.  If it fits the horse it's all good!
