  1. Make mom a nest in a quiet closet.  Make sure to close off any area you don't want her to have the kittens in.  When it's time for her to have them, monitor her for any problems. Otherwise, just let her be. Start feeding her a high quality kitten food now and continue it till the kittens are weaned. This will give her needed energy. Let the kittens stay with her till at least 8 weeks old. She will teach them important things about survival and social manners after they're weaned.  Start looking for good homes now and make mom a spay appointment for when the kittens are about 6 weeks old.

  2. Get them all spade or neutered. Especially the one that got pregnant in the first place. Then get them all the proper shots and vaccines. Then try painstakingly to get them homes. Finally, send the rest to the pound where no one will adopt them because there are already too many cats and they will get put to sleep, set them free in a rural area (AWAY FROM A MAJOR ROAD!!! and when they are old enough), or keep all of them and be the crazy lady with 10 cats.

But mostly, get them all spade and neutered. Some places will actually pay for it!

  3. why didn't you have her spayed prior to this?

  4. Hi there, How come your cat wasn't fixed in the first place, it's what happens.

But now that she's preg there's not much you can do, except watch and wait. It's easy, the momma will do all the work,  all you have to do is just be there during the delivery to make sure everything goes ok.

Apart form that she will clean them up and feed them.  Please consider keeping one as it must be horrible to loose all your children and not know where they went.  Good luck please keep us posted.

  5. my answer is basically what everyone else said, especially the putting a box and old blanket in a quiet closet except i also wanted to say that the way when my cat had her babies, after a couple of months, i took them to my local flea market and two got given away, then i put the other two on kijii.com i think it was, it's a free classified thing on the internet and the same person took my last two. i was worrying about someone wanting the last two cause they were both solid black and some people have something against them but it was easy enough. good luck!

  6. Just make sure that the mom cat has a safe, secluded place to have the kittens. Make sure that the litter pan is close to them. The mother cat will do all the work (even litter train them in most cases), also, when they are born don't worry when she licks the uck off of them, this is completely normal. Just make sure when she has them that if any don't make it, you need to bury them. Also spend a lot of time with the kittens, petting and holding them (as much as the mom will let you) as this will make them more social. Good luck.

  7. She will have her kittens when she is 9 weeks gone, she will let you know when she is ready to have them. Get her somewhere ready for her to them, just a box with some old blanket in, something that you can throw away. I tend to mix kitten food in with her food so that they get the extra goodness, she will probably just sleep all the time from now until she's ready. The 1st weeks or so after she's had them she will do all the work, at about 4 weeks they should be ready for weaning, that's when it will become harder work for you.
