I got transferred 2 delhi n in a day i lost my passport now i want to apply 4 passport in tatkaal how 2 do?

If you have lost your passport the first thing to do is to lodge a complaint with the local police where the passport is lost. Then put an ad. in the local paper. You may get your passport back.

If not, then go to the passport office from where it was issued and finish the formalities there.Only after thourough investigation you will recieve duplicate one. If you have photocopy of the passport the things may become little easy.

first of all u have to lodge FIR against the lost passport at nearest local police station . go to passport office,  fill the lost application passport form  and submit the documents required by passport office, like photo copy of lost  passport , original copy og FIR, u r passport sizes photographs, address proof etc. If u  want to apply in Tatkal then u need a recomendation certificate from IAS officer and reason as to why u need passport urgently. u can attach any company letter or invitation letter from abroad as a proof. as per the case passport office will decide to issue the passport under tatkal scheme. u have to pay extra fees for lost passport + tatkal charges .
