I got water in my 1991 Waverunner, what should I do to get all the water out of the cylinders?

It will crank but not start. I don't think it is firing, what do I check first.

  1. take one spark plug out at a time. try turning it over it will shoot the water out. then change the spark plugs. it should fire up.
