  1. depending what grade you are in. Tests in general are important if you want to keep your grade average up. But from what i've learnt from past experiences tests are probably only 20% of your grade. Participation, homework checks are also factors that contribute to a good grade. Everyone messes up once in a while. So don't let it get you down. Universities check grade 11 transcripts, so try your hardest in grade 11, but I remember that I got a bad mark on a math test, i was once at 92 brought me down to a 49. but because of my hard work and my determination to NEVER do that badly again, i walked out of that class with a 90% average between my semesters. So one test may see bad, and i learnt that my mark only dropped that much beccause we barley did anythign that semester. The more you do in a semester the less each component is worth, the less you do the more heavily weighted each component is. Get it? For example if you did only 5 tests in that semester each test is worth 20%, but if you did 10 tests in that semester each test is only worth 10% so its not that bad. Just remember, if you don't understand something ask, you have nothing to lose and all to gain. Study, study study! good luck with future tests!

  2. Take it over!! If the test is that important there should be a retake option... Go find it.

  3. beg your teacher for a make-up test. if she/he says no then do very well for the rest of high school
