  1. you'll still be a minor I'm the same way, i'll be 17 when i graduate, and i turn 18 two months later

  2. You are still subject to the same rules and laws as you are while in school.

  3. i'll only be 17 when i graduate h.s. next year

and sorry, you'll still be a minor until you're 18

  4. No, unfortunately you don't get all your rights till you turn 18!

  5. No. It's the age, not when you graduate.

  6. Yes you would still be a minor. The law cares about what age you are not when you graduated.

  7. NO, because you are over 16.

  8. not until you are 18

  9. idk

  10. Yes, you are still considered a minor.  You are NOT an adult until you turn 18 years old.  Sorry.

  11. haha no ma'am

  12. you're not a legal adult until you're 18 - it doesn't really matter when you graduate.

  13. Sorry you are not of age until you are 18 yrs.old. As for getting a job if you get a GED that is bull, You can be 16 and get a job if you try.

  14. no not unless you have been married or have a baby, graduation is not emancipating

  15. Sadly, no. School doesn't really have anything to do with it I don't think.

So you're still a minor! However, watch out what you do, because you could be tried as an adult :)

  16. You turn into an adult on your 18th birthday, regardless of whether or not you've already graduated from high school. I graduated when I was 17, but I still had to have my parents sign my college papers, etc until I turned 18.

  17. until your 18 you aren't a legal adult

  18. Nope.

  19. In most states you can work full time when you have graduated.

  20. minors are under 18. when you're 18 that's when you are LEGALLY an adult.

doesn't matter if you graduate or not...

  21. No I graduated a two months after turning 17 and still was a minor. I was in college  and still could not go to clubs (well not legally) had to follow minor hours for work etc

  22. Yes, you're still a minor until you turn 18. My cousin just turned 18 today.

  23. No, you wouldn't be considered an adult -- that designation comes at 18 (or 21, for some things).

Think of it this way -- some kids even finish high school at 16!  Would you consider THEM an adult?

The only thing a high school degree says is that you've finished your high school education.  It doesn't guarantee that you're an adult (well, neither does a birthday, but you have to start somewhere, I guess!)

  24. you'll feel like an adult/but legally won't be until b-day

  25. no not until your b-day
