Question:

I grated my bulk parmesan cheese too much. It's lumpy & wet. How do I correct it.?

I went to far w/my food processor. Need to get it back to the right consistency. I goofed......big time.

  1. Try spreading it out on a bunch of paper towels... let the towels soak up some of the moisture, and let it air-dry for a while.  That will get rid of some of the moisture.

    You didn't say what the recipe is - it might still be fine to use?


  2. Use it in another recipe that requires wet/lumpy parmesan cheese.  Start over and watch close so it doesn't happen again.  A learning curve...........

  3. Put a little corn meal and process  again works great
