  1. Yes, as long as they're good old British poppies.  The usual type we see here are Corn Poppies, (Papaver rhoeas), also known as Flanders Poppy.

    Opium poppies are a totally different species (Papaver somniferum).


  2. I don't see why not. Don't eat the seeds from the tall white with a little pink in them though. You'll get addicted.
