I guess it's about time

Question

The Marlins finally slayed the Jamie Moyer beast (now 10-1 against the Fish). With an 8-2 blowout (in Philly), I'd say that the Marlins are looking like the team that should take the NL East. Jeremy Hermida had 4 RBIs, and Dan Uggla got 2 hits. The only blemish was a botched call by the 3rd base umpire who called a foul ball a home run for Victorino.

What do you guys think? You think they can take the East, or catch up to the Brewers (2.5 games back) for wild-card?

Remember, the Marlins have gotten Anibal Sanchez and Josh Johnson back, so they have fixed up their rotation. I'm a Marlins fan, and obviously biased, but I just want to see your opinions.

the marlins definitely have the tools to go to the playoffs heck i wouldn't be surprised if they made it to the WS

go marlins, fan my entire life and keep track of them everyday.  i think they can win the division, but the phils and mets, who i hate by the way wont seem to go away.  its hard to say, if the marlins win against these teams then i say they win the division.  their schedule is getting pretty hard towards the end of the year, but i believe in them.  FISH FAN 4 LIFE, and HAN RAM has to step it up as much as i love him and respect him for being the best player in the league

I've been saying this for a while now. The Marlins are a legitimate contender and now have a dangerous rotation with Anibal and Johnson coming back. They also have the 4th best bullpen ERA. Personally I think they can win the wildcard or the NL east, but the marlins seem to be locked on the phillies and the Mets right now ( they took 2 out of 3 from both the phillies and Mets in the last series). The Marlins burned the Phillies bullpen tonight beating them 8-2 tonight so we'll see how the last month pans out, it should be really interesting.
