  2. Hi there,

It sure is common for a kitten who finds himself without his "sibling." He is grieving and misses his feline companion. Right now he is feeling insecure since his "pal" is no longer around.  He is more than likely suffering from what is known as "Separation Anxiety"

Give your kitty all the love and attention he is craving to reassure him that he is adored and protected. Play with him with some interesting toys, and if you can, purchase him a cat tree so he can find a safe high place to hang out and watch what is going on in the household.

He should settle down in a few days and get back to his normal self.

    Good luck with your kitten!

  3. Aww!  My parents' cat is like that--when they go out of town and I go over to feed him, he follows me around--really cuddly.  When parents (and their golden retriever) are home, he is nowhere to be found half the time.

He lost his brother or sister...there is some sort of attachment there, I'm sure...I think it's normal =).

  4. cats have a personality all their own like we do. and it changes just like ours does. while it may be true he is lonesome for the sibling he is also bonding with you. enjoy this time!

  5. yea. y'd you give it away? thats like torture to the cat. but yea its normal. if you take the kitten it loved, away from it well....... its gonna make the cat really sad
