I had 2 rabbits who had 4 babies. The babies are almost a year old now. My mom, when she found out one of the original rabbits was preggo, said there was no way we were keeping the babies after weening. When the babies came, however, she changed her mind and decided there's no way we're getting rid of them and if anybody even so much as touches them, god help them. So basically, they're her pets. I have to clean up after them and my brother is supposed to help, but nobody but me does anything and I still want to get rid of the four babies. Can anybody give me any suggestions as to wat to do?

You could try to get your mother to sit down and talk with you.

Tell her that you like the rabbits but you're tired of being the only one that has to be responsible to clean them. Don't give any kind of attitude. If at first you're afraid to go to your mother trying talking to your brother.

I have found over the years that honesty has helped me out especially when talking to one of my parents.

Just try talking to your mother. Tell her how you feel about the situation that you're in.

one day don't clean up and your mom will realize what a mess they make. they're not your responsibility since they're her pets

honestly,that's so cruel of your mother.i'm not being rude to your mother in any way but would you hit your child with a big wooden spoon?huh?

okay so just explain to your mother that you want to get rid of the babies and make sure they get good house and owners.you mother,if she isn't angry at the moment,will understand.first off,make sure you clean up after the rabbits every day as to not anger you mother.this is one of the most common problems encountered by people who had not prepared for having rabbit kits.you should learn that by now.

mothers will usually understand her child's emotion.just be good and kind to her every day and show you courtesy when asking of getting rid of the rabbits.maybe you could say that you suggest to give way only 3 of the babies and keep only one so that you mother will not miss the babies when their gone.at least she can still keep one with her.

she'll come around sooner or later.i know mothers and i completely understand.my own mother can be cruel sometimes
