I had F-1 Visa interview on july 1st and it was approved. When will i get back my passport?

had interview on july 1st in Islamabad, Pakistan. They approved my visa and said, now its has to go under "Administrative process". How long does administrative process take and when will i get back my passport with visa so that i can buy tickets and rent accommodation.

I have to attend intertional student orientation program on 31st August and today it is 30th July. Tell me what should i do?

There's no precise time fram on this. If they could tell you exactly how long it will take, they would have told you, if only to keep you from bothering them everyday by asking "is it ready yet?"  They do try to expedite student visas as quickly as they can, so chances are good you'll get your visa in time for class.

You should be getting it back any day now.  It usually takes about a month.  Just be patient.  I wouldn't buy tickets yet but be ready to get them as soon as your passport arrives.
