I had Rome Total War

Question

I had Rome Total War game installed on my pc and played it a lot for a year or so and then deleted it to free up more space. I tried to re-install it again this past week and when I would get to the 3rd. CD, it would freeze and post the message "failed to initialize 3D Audio. That is as far as we can get. We have audio on all the other games. Do you have any idea what is going on with this one? A response would be appreciated.
