I would be curious to hear from others who have had this experience. I was seated under my motorhome awning talking to my next door neighbor, when he looked up and said, "you have a visitor". As I got up, a bird flew overhead and landed on my neighbor's motorhome. I walked up and began to talk to it. I reached out so it could perch on my hand, but it showed no interest. This is the only time in my recollection that any bird has ever come to me. I am going through terrible financial and health problems just now and could construe this as a very good sign. The bird sat there through my labrador retreiver's barking incessantly at it, and my neighbors moving about, preparing to leave in the morning. I went in the house and got bread. The bird waited until I returned. It refused the offering, and finally flew away. This "bird" was an albino mourning dove with glowing red eyes. My research indicates that this bird cannot survive in the wild because it is genetically weak and has poor eyesite
