I had a 62 going into my exam, and now i have a 59.9. Any idea what my exam mark was?

I know my report card mark, but i don't know what i got on the exam. The exam was worth 40% of my grade if that helps.

62*60% + x*40% = 59.9

(59.9-37.2) / 0.4 = x = 56.75

you go in with 62 that means 37.2/60

for the rest of the 40 % you must get 59.9-37.2= 22.7

that is 22.7/ 40%

then  (22.7/40) x100= 56.75

you would get 56.75 for your exam.
