I had a baby 7 months ago and my hips just started to hurt again, why?

They just started hurting a few weeks ago. It feels like when I first found out I was pregnant. I am still breastfeeding and the doctor says it has nothing to do with that. My hips are still in place but they still hurt. Does anyone know why this is happening?

  1. Well having a baby is tough on the pelvis and hip bone area. hips don't even go back into place for up to 7 yrs. Possibly you pulled something or inflamation is causing sorness. If your doctor isn't willing to take x-rays, then maybe consider going to a chiroprator. Sometimes certain exercises and stretches will help out with stuff like this. Good luck, I hope you get to feeling better.

  2. Are you using a sling to carry the baby?

Are you carrying the baby on your hips?

Are you gaining or loosing a lot of weight?

Maybe you changed something in your daily routine like exercising?

Are you maybe sitting differently in your computer chair because you are holding the baby?

Are you having s*x a new way?

Are you using a new stroller and the baby additional weight is putting a different strain on your hips?

Maybe playing new games with the baby in the floor ?

Maybe trying to get up while holding the baby?

Remember the baby is gaining weight at an alarming rate right now and you may be carrying him a new way.

((((Just a few ideas you may think about.)))
