  1. Yes, just because you're not used to it. It doesn't cause harm, and goes away when the more you exercise.

  2. Definatly. especially if you arent used to walking that much. The muscles in your legs are put under stress we you walk and it slowly tears very small parts of your muscle. The healing of the pieces of muscle can make your legs feel sore. But thats how people become flexible, from stretching the muscle.

  3. Yeah do two things

    1. Do some gentle stretching exercises, both standing and sitting on the floor. Don't bounce - just hold them. Try to do them a few different times during the day.

    2. Eat a couple of Bananas - they contain an enzyme that breaks down lactic acid

Some pain is good, it indicates that you have pushed yourself - that's the point of exercise isn't it?

Too much pain, or pain in one place on one leg, might indicate an injury - in that case, don't stretch, and if it doesn't get better in a few days of resting it, then talk to a doctor.

  4. yes ,  when you walk fast you use the mussle in your legs , just relax and you`ll be fine

  5. You could have strained them. Be easy on them!

  6. Yeah, Its just a strain on the legs that there not used to but it shows that the muscles are ripping and when they rip they make new muscle cells increasing the strngth in you're legs, so the pain is good.

  7. There could be many various factors to it:-

    1. fast walking

    2. long distance of walking

    3. long duration of walking you werent used to

    4. disturbing shoes

    5. irritants inside the sole

  8. take a hot bath, hot water relaxes muscles, and it feels good too

  9. This calls for a LONG HOT BUBBLE BATH!

  10. Anytime you exercise, your using muscles that you wouldn't normally be using on a day to day basis. And if you dont exercise regularly, your muscles aren't used to it, so therefore they get sore. The more you workout the less sore you get. But its a good thing to get sore it means that you had a good workout. I would just suggest stretching before and after you walk, and try to keep walking daily....

  11. It's from lack of walking. walk more and hurt less. Right now, everything is starting to tighten up like your thighs, and back-end due to Muscle overload. Which is what you need to accomplish to see the results of walking.

  12. yes definitely you may have used some muscles that you dont normally use. thats a good thing it means that you got stronger

  13. Of course.

When you get your legs used to such walks, they won´t hurt any more; you´ll just feel great. Keep walking, it´s very good for you!

  14. yes your body is not used to all that walking and its building new muscle

  15. Either that, or lack of exercise.  Do you regularly walk briskly?  You might try stretching next time.

  16. it means you are un fit.

    try exercise more..

  17. You must do a slow walking for a while before you speed. That prepares your muscles for the "hard" work.I suggest you to have a little slow walking these days.It helps you more than laying. It's like the first day on gym.You feel excausted but as you've been exercised you feel better. So, get out for a little slow walking(it warms your leg's muscles and makes you feel better)

  18. Yes and no.

If you are not use to walking for long periods of time or fast paces you might want to start slow and work your way up to the faster longer walks. Take small relaxing walks for as long as u want.. it is for endurance

No bc you might not have stretched enough or not at all

  19. Absolutely. If you haven't been out exercising for a while, your legs will be sore. The more you exercise, the less intense the pain will become.

    Good for you,

Not many people stay active now days.

  20. Yes. Your muslces will heal in a couple of days. Stretching is good  for the muscle while you're sore, even though it hurts.

  21. probably

  22. Yes leg muscles just did a bit more than usual   , be OK after rest   . do it gradual  not too much all at once

  23. When your legs get sore when u walk for a long time that means you are growing and your muscles are getting stronger too

  24. aah yeh....keep fluid intake up.......helps

  25. Your legs are hurting because of the muscle twist maybe you are not used of walking...

  26. Of course.

Start with shorter, faster pace, more frequent walks before you go to long walks/runs, or else you'll end up picking it up slower because your legs will be sore.

  27. It's because your muscles, aren't used to it, if you walk every day and start with a slow walk, then just build it up slowly, your muscles will get used to it.
