I had a car accident about 3 weeks ago,it was my fault! i need some advice!?

i want to fix tht other guys car but he says he is gona wait for his dad to come back from overseas.since its his dad car he was driving. its been 3 weeks alrdy. How long should i wait for??its givn me stress. i have alrdy sold my car as it was damaged prty bad. this guys cars chasi is broken. He ddnt call the police that time. and i ddnt have any insurance. i jst gav him my licence number and name and address.

plz give me some advice.
