  1. If the insurance carrier does not appeal it further, like to the state Supreme court,  the "interested" parties have anywheres from 30-60 days to disagree with the decision prior to any payout.  Also if you are expecting to get money for lost wages, the insurance carrier may send you a form asking for any earnings you may have had, so they can calculate a check for you.  However, if you have taken this claim to the appellate court, I am assuming you have an attorney.  If you do, call your attorney and realize they will take out their fee and any court costs involved.  If you don't have an attorney, call the insurance carrier and ask them.  If you worked at all during the period you claim was in litigation, they are entitled to the wage history prior to paying you.  So check you mail for anything like that.  If you don't respond, it could delay any payout until you do respond.  Even if you had no earnings, you will need to tell them.   As for any further appeals, if the insurance carrier takes your case to the state Supreme court, it will take a long time for any resolution.  The Supreme court has to even decide if they will even hear the case.  If they will not hear your case, then the case is done, if they are willing to hear the case, it will be another 1-2 years.
